"Kansas Beta needed help to regain its superior role for members, and the house upgrade seemed essential," Tom said. "The key is if the members are up to the task, but having visited at reunion, I am optimistic." Following his time in Manhattan, Tom had a long career with Westinghouse becoming President of their commercial nuclear business, and when it sold, he moved into small manufacturing businesses in Philadelphia. He also enjoyed working with Brother's Brother Foundation, which is based in Pittsburgh, Pa., and is one of highest rated charities in the U.S. Tom resides in Cary, N.C., with his wife, Joan, an alumna of Southern Methodist University. They have three children and six grandchildren. He can be reached at tmistler@msn.com. Tom Mistler '65 (Continued from page 2) SAE's letters were painted in support of ZTA's Think Pink Week.
