Rutherford Weekly's Favorite with M.A. ANDREWS I'm getting started with a recipe from VONDA KAY ROLLINS recipe for One Dish Chicken and Rice Bake! 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup water, 3/4 cup uncooked regular white rice, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves. In a 2 quart casserole dish, mix soup, water rice, paprika and pepper. Place chicken on rice mixture. sprinkle with additional paprika and pepper. Cover and bake at 3756º for 45 minutes or until chicken and rice are done. How easy and how good can it be! This week I'm getting some good recipes to share with you from the Second Baptist Church cookbook, "Recipes & Memories" I'm headed to the kitchen and making some rib-sticking, family pleasing dishes. Yes, I'm going to show the love! One Dish Chicken & Rice Bake There you have it for this week. So, do what I do, get in the kitchen and "show the love"! I'm sticking with the bird this week. I'm now mak- ing LILLIAN S. PHILLIPS recipe for Sesame Chicken Strips! How good is this going to be. This is a keeper. Everybody will love this! 1 cup mayonnaise, 2 tea- spoons died minced onion, 2 teaspoon ground mustard, 1 cup crushed butter-flavored crackers, 1/2 cup sesame seeds, 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts. SAUCE: 1 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons honey. In a bowl, combine the mayo, onion and mustard. In another bowl, combine the crackers and sesame seeds. cut the chicken lengthwise into 1/4 inch strips. Dip the strips into the mayonnaise mixture, then into the sesame seed mixture. Bake at 425º for 15-18 minutes or until the juices run clear. Combine the sauce ingredients and serve with the chicken strips. Sesame Chicken Strips MAIN MAIN Next, I'm making Lula's Chicken Bog a recipe from BRENDA HENDRIX. Whole chicken, 4-5 cups water, 2 cups long grain rice, 1 roll of smoked sausage cut into small pieces, 1 can cream of chicken soup. Boil chicken in water and de-bone. Cut chicken or tear into small bite size pieces. Using the both you cooked the chicken in, bring it to a boil and add rice, sausage and soup. Let this cook for at least 20 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
