Rodgers Theater The Corning Commu- nity Foundation would like to thank all those who came out Saturday to work at the Rodgers Theatre. A lot was accomplished in a short time with at least nine people who showed up to work. Those who volunteered used shovels and pick axes to dig trenches and pre- pare footing for the floor. Once that is done the floor will be poured and the the- ater will be usable as a multipurpose building by the end of the year. Funds will then be needed to fin- ish the job of getting pro- jectors, sound system etc. to have performances and movies. We will keep you posted when another work day is scheduled.
