GIVING BACK TO TAU KAPPA EPSILON E ach of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of Tau Kappa Epsilon at MSM, UMR, and MS&T. How appropriate, then, that each of us has an opportunity to invest in the future of Beta Eta Chapter. At the advent of this project, a small group of alumni, many of whom you know, made early commitments and stretched their gifts to demonstrate the importance of this project. We urge each alumnus to do the same and consider a gift to the campaign. To help donors maximize their gifts, the campaign executive board has designed the campaign with our alumni in mind. Tax deductibility. Gifts and pledges may be directed to the Tau Kappa Epsilon Educational Foundation and designated for the Beta Eta Special Projects Fund providing tax deductibility to the extent allowed by law. There is also a need to secure non-tax-deductible gifts and pledges to MSM TEKE Inc. Payment options. Pledges can be fulfilled as a one-time gift or spread over a five-year period. Pledge payments can be scheduled as annual installments or as monthly payments. Matching gifts and tax benefits on gifts of securities. If your employer offers a matching gift program, this gift may be eligible. Also, gifts of securities are encouraged as there are often significant tax advantages to the donor. (For professional advice, please consult your tax advisor.) Recognizing loyal Tekes. Special naming opportunities will be offered to alumni considering a gift of $25,000 and above. All donors contributing $2,500 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque and will appear in campaign publications. Names will appear by category, relative to the size of the gift. Gifts in honor or in memory of Fraters, as well as family and pledge class gifts, are welcomed.
