The investigation led to 88 illegally grown marijuana plants and other evidence being seized as well as two arrests being made, ac- cording to a Tehama County Sheriff's Depart- ment press release. The site was located at 16518 Lariat Loop. The Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Tehama Interagency Drug Enforcement task force and the District Attorney's office. The site's property owner, Alta Ruth Haskell, 73 was arrested along with 47-year-old Roon- groj Sritula from North Highlands. According to the press release the investiga- tion showed Sritula was paying Haskell to grow marijuana on the property. While seizing the illegal grow investigators discovered and seized two separate devices that had "trip wires" attached to them, which, when activated, would set off a blank .22-caliber car- tridge to make a loud noise. Haskell and Sritula were booked at Tehama County Jail on charges of cultivation of mari- juana and possession of marijuana for sale and released with a promise to appear.
