Stephanie Zielinski Lakemoor, Ill. *Legacy 3 ALPHA GAMMA DELTA Welcome, New Members Martha Nabers '62 Reminisces (Continued from page 1) I earned a B.A. in English and history while at the University, but my real education came out of the Alpha Gam house. The outstanding alumnae, as well as the actives, helped to shape us into the women we are now. Getting life organized for 90-230 girls goes a long way in helping you develop life skills that we all need in family and working lives. Knowing that you really can be successful in the face of many obstacles was a great life lesson that has carried me a long way. Margaret Shirley Koster '21, our beloved founder and chapter advisor, handed over the reins to me when she stepped down. It was an honor and a joy to serve and once again be part of all these grand girls' lives. I was pouring it in and receiving double for about 30 years until a new group of young alumnae stepped up. These girls have now built a seriously fine new home for our chapter for the next 50 years or so. My blessings are huge! Besides my Alpha Gam girls, I have three wonderful children: Frances, Ann, and Max, and eight spectacular grandchildren.
