Events and Volunteer Opportunities Await You at A&M I hope this newsletter finds you and your families well as we launch into the school year. The House Corporation has moved forward with many projects and events since the last time we updated you. Join Zeta Sigma This Fall With last year behind us we're focusing on this year's activities and are hoping to see an increase in turnout and attendance. Ken Herman '07 will follow up with specific details for upcoming events geared to increase alumni awareness and involvement. Positive Outlook for Actives As I noted in our first newsletter last year, the chapter made great strides and is well respected on the A&M campus. Delt is one of the largest fraternities at Texas A&M and the future looks bright with large pledge classes expected to commit to our brotherhood over the next few semesters. Get Involved Not many changes to our staff for this coming year, yet we still eagerly look for additions to the corporation and would love to have your involvement. Let me or someone on the board know if you are interested in becoming part of our organization. A Shelter to Be Proud Of The house itself is in great shape once again thanks to a lot of time and effort from actives and alumni this summer. There is still plenty to do and keep up with on a monthly basis, but we have a fantastic Shelter with many improvements completed. It is truly a place all actives and alumni can enjoy and be proud of. If you have not seen it, please come out this fall and take a look. In closing, I want to thank the actives and alumni who do their part in keeping the chapter moving forward and maintaining the house and grounds; it is a lot of work and much appreciated. We can always use your involvement no matter how little time you might have to give. It all adds up. I hope everyone has a safe and happy end to the summer and prosperous end of the year. I hope to see many of you at one of our upcoming events. WELCOME, NEW MEMBERS Last spring, Zeta Sigma finished the semester with 105 members. Since then, we've initiated a pledge class of 15 and look forward to showing them our honored Delt traditions. Toward the end of the semester, we elected a new executive board, all of whom are motivated individuals, and I am eager to see the results of their hard work. CHAPTER LEADERS SPREAD KNOWLEDGE Eight of our members attended the Western Plains Division Conference in Overland Park, Kansas. They returned to the chapter with some amazing experiences to share, as well as newfound knowledge to Zeta Sigma welcomed our parents to visit campus during Parents Weekend in the spring.
