As a winner of the 2013 Intercultural Innovation Award, I would like
to commend TakingITGlobal for its great achievement in the area of
cultural diversity.
As a company with associates and customers from around
the globe, intercultural understanding is an essential part of
our daily work at the BMW Group. We are proud of our strong
partnership with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and
the Intercultural Innovation Award which enables us to highlight
some of the wonderful cross-cultural work being done by grassroots
organizations worldwide like TakingITGlobal.
They were able to use the Award as a catalyst to grow their project
and, in the process, advance their mission with even greater
impact. In this spirit, I wish to congratulate TakingITGlobal for their
