Project Highlights
T
he project will increase the total square footage
of our home from 16,398 to 26,282. This allows
us to construct chapter and dining rooms that
accommodate our growing membership and increase the
overall sleeping capacity to 81 women.
In addition to expanding and renovating our home, the Beta
Nu Building Association is committed to providing safe and
secure parking for each of our members living in the home.
Parking will be located on the back lot where the annex was
previously located, as well as on an adjacent lot. Members
will access parking from 14th Avenue.
Basement
F A spacious chapter room that will also be used as a
dance practice and fitness space
F Various study rooms for individual and group study that
may also be used for occasional initiation activities
F A creative, educational space for crafts and painting
First Level
F A large dining room that accommodates the chapter and
can also be used for hosting STEP meetings,
entertaining, and special events
F An updated, improved kitchen and serving area
F Lounge and study space with ample natural light
features
Second and Third Levels
F Twenty-nine bedrooms to sleep up to 81 women
F Updated bathrooms with vanity and storage space
F Additional study space for members
Project Phases
Phase 1 Chapter Renovation: Complete August 2014
Phase 2 Chapter Addition: Complete January 2015
Phase 3 Parking: A temporary lot will be complete in August
2014, with various long-term (5-10 years) parking options
yet to be finalized.
