The Next 125 Years
for Beta Nu
N
ow is the time for Beta Nu to make long-needed updates and changes to our
facility. The Beta Nu alumnae and undergraduate leadership has developed a solid
plan to address the long-term viability of the Kappa experience at The Ohio State
University. Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that
updates to and an expansion of the chapter house are necessary. Working with architect Jeff
Glavan, principal of the Glavan Group, and Ruscilli Construction, one of the leading construction
firms in Columbus, the Beta Nu Building Association has
developed a strategic design-build approach to our future
facility. Changes include modernization of the current
facility and a new three-story addition.
Goals of the Expansion
and Renovation
1. Provide a premier living-learning environment
for our members that sets Beta Nu apart
from the newly constructed and renovated OSU
residence halls and other sorority homes.
2. Update our 62-year-old facility to satisfy the
STEP Standards and second-year living
requirements at Ohio State to qualify to house
sophomores in our facility, thus ensuring our
financial stability.
3. Expand our facility, sleeping quarters, and
parking layout to meet the growing demand
for Greek life and sorority housing at Ohio
State.
