The University of Florida, a public university, receives funding every year to keep up with student housing demands and current practices, so when students come to campus they receive what they need and expect. Unfortunately, Greek chapters do not receive these same funds. We rely on alumni, students, and donors. The Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act addresses these needs and concerns. I look forward to CHIA passing and being able to readily support a chapter house where I know my brothers are being kept safe and where I can find successful Greeks bonding and becoming affluent leaders and productive members of society." Vanessa Cortez, ΓΦΒ Student Body PreSident, texaS State univerSity "We all have the power to make a change in our communities and to be extraordinary. This is what the Fraternity and Sorority Political Action Committee works toward each day, and I am thankful to the individuals in this organization for everything they do to support men and women like me in having the best college experience."
