It was pronounced good and true by the officers. e officers for the ceremony were: Grand Master Dalton W. Mayo; Brian R. Glover as senior grand warden; Samuel H. Leggett III as junior grand warden; William Minard as grand treasurer; Allan H. Pegg as grand secretary; James G. Jones Jr. as grand chaplain; R. Baskin Cooper as grand senior deacon; Brett R. Moraes as grand junior deacon; Bret A. Kelly and Michael R. Roberson as grand stewards; Robert W. Smith as grand tyler; and David E. Quick as grand marshal. jokes. ey enjoy introducing new friends to old friends. ey stay up too late and smell of hickory smoke. ey have a big, all- night party, compete for bragging rights for the best barbecue in the state, and get to go home knowing that they also raised $10,000 to help protect and nurture kids. e Grand Champion title went to Team Branch Water 000 (AKA Riverside 606).
