TAQUERIA EL TIO Mexican Restaurant 2103 Owen Drive | Fayetteville | 910.483.0783 For years Daniel Jimenez had a vision for the restaurant he would eventually call Taqueria El Tio. Daniel arrived in Fayetteville in 1990 to work in a well-known Mexican restaurant and spent 20 years working there, eventually rising to the position of General Manager. But even as he worked there, Daniel dreamed of one day opening his own Mexican eatery. His place would offer customers something more authentic than what they could find elsewhere. It would have a festive atmosphere, an attractive dining room and would be staffed with friendly people. Most of all, his food would be the freshest, best tasting and consistently the best in the area. Daniel is also committed to keeping his prices low so that a meal in his restaurant would easily fit into a family’s budget. He believed that by focusing on consistent quality and value — and not on gimmicks — he would draw in new customers and keep them coming back for more. In 2009 Daniel realized that after 20 years spent working for someone else, he had the knowledge and desire to open his own Mexican restaurant. He found a perfect location at 2103 Owen Drive and in November 2009, with the help of his wife Maricela, his children and his friends, Taqueria El Tio was open for business. He is now proud to open a brand new restaurant at Millstone Shopping Center on Camden Rd., in Hope Mills Going out on his own was a tough decision for Daniel. After so many years spent working in the same restaurant, the owners and staff there were like family to him. Also, Daniel knew that building a business of his own would mean a lot of personal risk and a whole lot of hard work. But owning his own business — being his own boss —was the American dream for Daniel, as it is for millions of others and Daniel had a deep desire to create something that he could pass on to his children. Today Daniel knows that without the support of his family, friends and customers, his dream of opening El Tio would not have become a reality. He’s grateful for the support he’s received and for the repeat business of loyal customers. That’s why he makes sure that every customer in El Tio enjoys delicious food in a fun, friendly and attractive environment. His commitment to quality and service is why first time customers in El Tio quickly become regular guests. NEW LOCATION SOON!!!! Millstone Village, 3310 Footbridge Rd, Hope Mills • 910.223.5664
