William Levine Fine Jewels signature look would best be described as being very current with an emphasis on modern classics. We like to say we are a collection rather than a line. Describe the philosophy and vision behind William Levine Fine Jewels. Our philosophy has always been to maintain impeccable customer service. Getting to know our customers is very important to us and is the foundation for great service and long term relationships. In today's e-economy, customer service is a plus! Our clients really appreciate this personal touch. How has being one of the Midwest's earliest and most influential jewelers impacted the evolution of your brand? Today there are less than a handful of third generation diamond and jewelry houses in America. We feel that name recognition for our brand has been a great ally as we've transitioned from former sight-holder to diamond and jewelry manufacturer. The name my Grandfather left us has been around since 1949 and we are proud to carry on the tradition of excellent products and service. You are a recent Centurion Award winner, what new designs should we be watching for this year? We feel fortunate and thrilled to have won 2 of the last 3 Centurion diamond design awards! However, it can be a challenge to continually and consistently come up with new designs. Winning an award is a very gratifying validation of our ongoing efforts to create pieces that inspire people and stand out in the industry. What plans are ahead for William Levine in 2014/2015? We are very enthusiastic about 2014-2015. The 2013 holiday season and Centurion 2014 were both strong for our brand. Ideally these are an indicator of what's to follow. I just came back from my biggest buying trip in years and I'm optimistic that 2014-2015 will be a good one. 28 W W W.thejeWelrybook.CoM Q & A with David Levine, President By Brooke Conner Sevenau w w w . w l f j . c o m | 3 1 2 . 2 3 6 . 3 7 0 0 p r e s t i g e s a l o n - 3 3
