While we face many challenges, we are encouraged to forge ahead with your continued support. In June 2013, the board committed to improve communications with the brotherhood and we hope that you have all enjoyed the increased frequency of communications over the past 10 months. Planning for Mu Chapter's Future Besides improved communication with the brotherhood, the Foundation is focused on working toward the recognition of an undergraduate Chapter. In order to do so, we need your help. Many Mu alumni are involved in leadership and volunteer positions with Colgate. We hope our alumni will continue to do so and that other brothers will begin to volunteer and support Colgate if they have not done so recently. Support DKE at Colgate Building goodwill between Mu and Colgate is a must if we are to have a chance of recognition in the future. While we should not forget the past, I ask that we not continuously live in it. We have to move forward and build positive relationships with the Colgate community if we are ever to return to campus. If you choose to provide financial support to Colgate, I hope you join me in supporting the Delta Kappa Epsilon Endowed Scholarship. Help Care for Our Temple While we work toward recognition of an undergraduate Chapter, we must also be mindful of our responsibilities to care for the Temple. The Temple is in need of several large-scale projects in addition to constant upkeep. Caring for the Temple is a responsibility we share for future generations of Mu. Stay Connected Although we have not had an active undergraduate Chapter since 2005, our brotherhood has grown every year because alumni are interested in joining an active organization that connects them to Colgate and each other after graduation through shared traditions and ideals. If we are an active and unified alumni organization, we will continue to attract new alumni members who will one day support an undergraduate Chapter. It is a testament to our brotherhood that alumni join us in the bonds. Thank you for your support. Please reach out to me with any questions or comments. In the Bonds, Sean F.
