The Red Bluff Round-Up has a solid reputation for providing top quality stock and it all starts at home with Growney Brothers Rodeo.
Stock contractor John Growney was named 2000 PRCA Stock Contractor of the Year and won the 2008 PRCA Remu- da Award for best pen of livestock. Growney works with Don Kish, who looks after the bull program and Tim Brid- well, who runs the horse program. Growney stock produced the only 100- point bull ride in rodeo history and their horse Moulin Rouge was named top bare- back horse of the year at the National Finals Rodeo. But there’s even more great stock at the Round-Up, which this year also comes from Big Bend Rodeo (Ritzville, Wash.), Flying Five Rodeo (Pomeroy, Wash.), Fly- ing U Rodeo Company (Marysville), Rosser Rodeo Company (Wheatland) and Western Rodeos Company.
