Save the Date for Rho's Centennial Celebration
Thank you, JeaneTTe Cummins,
for 12 years of serviCe
The fall 2013 semester was full of memorable events at Rho
Chapter. We said goodbye to our long-term house director,
Jeanette Cummins, who resigned in December due to health
issues after more than 12 years as our house mom. Jeanette lives
nearby and comes for lunch at the chapter house occasionally.

holiday home Tour
In November, the chapter house was selected for a Holiday
Home Tour open to the public in the Iowa City-Coralville area,
sponsored by the Iowa City Junior Service League. Their charity
was Operation Back-Pack, a benefit for Iowa City area students
and parents in need, in which the school district sends food
staples home daily to these families. The House Corporation
helped to sort through years of holiday decorations stored at the
chapter house and enhanced the best with additional decorations.
At the annual Holiday Cozy philanthropy event in December,
the undergraduate members chose to raise money for Operation
Back-Pack again. We were all very proud of our undergraduates!

rho's CenTennial year: 2015
Rho Chapter is one year away from its centennial anniversary in
2015, since being chartered in 1915. We are so hopeful that Rho
alumnae across the country will form groups or committees to
mark next year with celebrations for this important anniversary.
We hope to see many Rho alumnae in Iowa City next year!
