Sigma Chapter introduCeS the Centennial Club Donate $100 to Commemorate 100 Years of Sigma Chapter S ince the spring of 2011, numerous alumnae have donated generously to Sigma Chapter's annual appeals. Their efforts have raised more than $40,000 in just three short years; and we are forever grateful. These funds have been used to build the Sigma Chapter Endowment Fund, which provides for the long-term maintenance of the chapter house. It also functions, in essence, as a Sigma savings account, securing the financial foundation of our chapter. This spring, we are introducing a new, special giving opportunity. In honor of our centennial celebration approaching, we are asking alumnae to contribute $100 and become a member of the Centennial Club— one dollar for each year of our historic membership. Sisters who donate will be specially recognized at our approaching centennial celebration in April 2015. Your donations will be used toward important chapter house improvements, which are not considered educational projects per the IRS. Therefore, we ask that you direct your generous gifts to the Sigma Chapter House Corporation. Contributions to the house corporation are not tax deductible; however, they are still essential to the success of Sigma Chapter! Alumnae are the backbone of Sigma Chapter and the source of our success. Thank you for your dedication and loyalty, and we hope to see you next year as we celebrate 100 years of Sigma. Please see page 4 for more details.
