On February 2, Covenant Lu-
theran Church in Quartzsite
welcomed their new pastor,
Reverend Dr. Fred A. Soltow Jr.
Recently retired, Pastor Fred
comes to Covenant from his two
former parishes in Shepherds-
ville, West Virginia. He has
been a pastor since 1975.
Pastor Fred now resides in
Goodyear, AZ. His wife Sarah,
an Elementary School Guidance
Counselor, will be joining him
in April. The congregation at
Covenant is truly enjoying his
fresh new leadership.
Worship service is at 9:30 on
Sunday mornings September
through May with an Adult
Bible Study following the ser-
vice. All are welcome to attend
and participate in the church
life at Covenant.
