GRAND
Gathering
weekend
a
huge
success

The
Grand
Gathering
was
held
this
past
weekend,
March
6th
–
9th,
2014,
in
Quartzsite,
Arizona.
Events
were
geared
for
GRAND
Parents
and
Great
GRANDS
and
their
families
to
create
memorable
moments
together.
Orga-
nizers
of
The
GRAND
Gathering
report
that
631
people
participated
in
Sunday's
GRAND
Finale
event,
the
Guinness
Record
Attempt
of
the
World's
Largest
Human
Letter
"Q"
at
Quartzsite
Improvement
Association
(QIA).
Guinness
told
the
group
they
needed
at
least
501
participants
to
be
considered
for
the
record.
Verifi
cation
by
Guinness
can
take
up
to
12
weeks.

off
the
GRAND
Gathering,
was
the
American
Veterans
Traveling
Tribute
(AVTT)
Vietnam
Memorial
Wall
arriving
in
Quartzsite
