Offi cer Dee Pfl eger, Arizona Game and Fish Department, addressed the club. She said that Game and Fish offi cers are issuing citations for safety violations such as riding two up on an ATV not designed for two. Club activities included two club rides. On February 4 twenty-nine rid- ers rode to Southern Cross Mine and several other mines; and on February 18 twenty-four riders rode around the Plomosa Mountains. The club also held a hot dog cookout at the County Park on February 19 with 49 attend- ing. Thanks for all the side dishes brought by the club members includ- ing the homemade ice. The next club meeting is March 17 and a member of the La Paz Search and Rescue team is scheduled to speak. Offi cer Jason Dennerline, Arizona Game and Fish Department, will be present to address statewide OHV Recreation. The Ghost Riders sponsored an OHV parade through town during for the 15th Annual Bouse Fire Auxiliary BBQ & Car Show on Saturday, February 22, 2014. The parade was a huge success with 42 entries. The Ghost Rider website is: http:// ghostriders.desertrail.net There are GPS tracks of many loop rides on the website that you can download and use on your GPS. The purpose of the Ghost Riders is to work with local, state and federal agencies to keep the desert roads and trails open for public use. Our goal is to work on projects which help our community, highways and desert and to promote the sport of OHV riding with safety awareness and respect for the environment. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who enjoys the sport of off-highway riding and supports our mission and purpose. NOTE: Mem- bership dues are now $10 per HOUSE- HOLD annually. Membership is valid for one year from January 1 to Decem- ber 31 regardless of the date joined. Application forms are available on the website if you would like to print one and mail it with your check to P.O. Box 878, Bouse, AZ 85325. Meetings are held on the 3rd Mon- day of each month from November to March at the Desert Pueblo Recreation Hall at 9:00 am. Come join us; visitors are always welcome. Club Rides are held on the fi rst and third Tuesday of each month. The rides depart from the LaPaz County Park on Plomosa Road at 10:00 am unless otherwise announced by the club.
