T
he undergraduate men have made a commitment
to work hard in maintaining the programs
and traditions that have benefited the lives of so
many Delts over the years. Chapter leadership,
recruitment, Delt programming, and academics over
the last 12 years have been consistently excellent,
resulting in multiple awards of the Hugh Shields flag,
recognizing the top 10 chapters of the international
fraternity.
Gamma Pi earned its 22nd Hugh Shields award in
2012. That is more than any other chapter in the
fraternity since the inception of the award in 1966.
Gamma Pi Chapter has also earned 30 Court of
Honor awards during the 47-year history of the
award. The Court of Honor designation goes to
the top 20 chapters in the fraternity.
Our undergraduates continue to rise to the challenge;
now it's time for us to join them. This project
requires assistance from dedicated alumni—like you.
Remember that you benefited from the generosity,
work, and sacrifice of those who went before us. We
enjoyed the comfort and brotherhood that Gamma
Pi provided during our years at Iowa State. Now it
is our turn to support the undergraduates and ensure
that the same, wonderful experience is available to
future generations.
We are seeking support from our Gamma Pi alumni
brothers to become "Builders of the Gamma Pi Bridge."
With your investment, Gamma Pi will continue to
provide a quality living environment that supports,
nurtures, and develops outstanding young men
with the skills and confidence to face the future.
The commitment we make today cannot be
underestimated. It will have a far-reaching effect
