"I owe a huge debt to Gamma Pi. I have received many blessings over the years
that can be traced back to my involvement with the Fraternity, and I welcome
the opportunity to pay back some of what I owe. It is a testament to the strength
of the chapter that is has continued to thrive throughout the many years. Iowa
State friends who belonged to other fraternities relate sad stories about how
their chapters have suffered great difficulties, with some actually closing and
leaving campus. I want the Delt legacy to continue, and I believe that
this new facility is important in making this occur."
