The teams were competitive as usual with the team of Bud Key and Joe McWilliams shooting a round of 36 to take fi rst place. In second place, was the team of Kit Wilkins and Grant Berube with a 37. Closely following, with a third place fi nish, was the team of Cletus Winkler and John Hall who fi red a round of 38. John Hall was drawn for the progressive pot and he chose hole #18 to test his luck. Unfortunately, he didn't get a hole-in-one on that whole so the pot goes up to $24 next week. The Saturday tournaments continue at 9:00 A.M. on Quartzsite #1 on Febru- ary 1. Hope to see some new faces joining in for a round of fun. GOLF FROM PAGE 22
