Looks like the cold air of Winter is about gone now. We probably will have some more cold weather, but by far the worst is over. Through the rest of the month we can easily see that there is not going to be any more arctic air get anywhere near our area. In fact, at times we will be very warm, well above normal. It still won’t change the fact that this Winter will go down as one of the coldest in many a year though. By Friday, strong warm southwest winds will shoot our temps up well into the 70’s, getting into some very close to record breaking warmth. A weak backdoor front will knock our temps back down a little over the weekend, but nothing too major, then we warm up again next week....and so it goes. Unfortunately, our drought will be strengthening through the next 2 weeks as well, with nary a drop of rain for the rest of the month, except the last couple of days possibly. By early March, the pattern may change, but for now enjoy the taste of Spring. “Our experience with The Birth Place at Rutherford Hospital was wonderful.
