Tat day Mount Hermon 118 raised two men: Eric Winters for their own lodge and Tim Phillips for Hominy 491. Gibson left his native Philadelphia in the 1970s, coming to Raleigh to study architecture. He has appeared around the world and collabo- rated with some of the greats in jazz including Eddie Henderson, Nnenna Freelon, Gary Bartz, Clifford Adams, and the North Carolina Sym- phony among many.
