Name: Greg West Lived here for: 36 years Best known for: Chief of Staff at H&H Homes and is serving his eighth year the on school board Greg West holds the appointed position to the Board of Trustees of NCCAT (The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching) and balances community service with his family time, along side spouse Kristie Fields West and their three children. Q: What is the best aspect of your job? A: “At H&H Homes and Cumberland County Schools I’m blessed to work with the best people in the world!” Name: Dr. Loleta Wood Foster Lived here for: 35 years Best known for: Being an active community volunteer Dr. Loleta Foster is a licensed psychologist who started her private practice in 1984, Assessment, Counseling & Consulting. She has been a tireless volunteer within our community throughout the years. Q. What would Fayetteville find most surprising about you, Dr. Foster? A. There is an athlete — and a sports fan — inside me waiting to come out, so get ready, Fayetteville! I love playing games, watching football and going to professional football games. I even went to the Super Bowl in San Diego, Calif. I walk three miles every morning and I love to cook. Name: Billy West Lived here for: Lifelong resident Best known for: Being the first newly elected D.A. in 35 years and winning the Cumberland County Golf Championship title for the fifth time. Billy West graduated Valedictorian from his class at N.C. State and was named Academic All American and The Atlantic Coast Conference’s Outstanding Male Scholarship Athlete. Q: What’s most surprising about your job? A: “The Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office is responsible for prosecuting approximately 80,000 cases each year and has a large staff including 24 Assistant District Attorneys and 20 support staff.” CityViewNC.com | 55
