Diabetes Increases Your Risk for High Blood Pressure Local physicians are studying the investigational use of two approved and marketed high blood pressure medica- tions in people with type 2 diabetes. You may be eligible to participate in this study if you have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and have, or think you may have, high blood pressure. To qualify you must be on a stable diabetes treatment, but not taking insulin. Qualifi ed participants receive study-related care, includ- ing physical exams, lab services and high blood pressure medication at no cost. You will also continue taking your diabetes medication. Compensation for time and travel may also be available. First Experience? GOUT You may qualify if: •You are male 18 years or older •You are female 45 years or older •Have had one gout experience    This clinic is conducting a clinical research study.
