This is the first YCB edition since the fall of 2012, which was an electronic-only publication, and the first print edition in nearly a decade. The Foundation is committed to increasing and improving communications with the brotherhood. We hope you all enjoy this edition. FOUNDATION SETS VISION FOR FUTURE The Foundation has been busy this fall. We've held monthly meetings and conducted a considerable amount of business between them. Minutes from our meetings are posted on our website, www.mudke.org. We hope you will take some time to visit the site. Please contact Cody Cowper '09 at ccowper@ me.com to request a login ID if you do not already have one. RENOVATIONS AND PROJECTS NECESSARY FOR CHAPTER This summer and fall, several maintenance projects around the Temple were performed, including removing a deteriorating chimney on the north side of the Temple and installing a new roof. In addition, several dying trees on the south side of the Temple were removed and new sealant was placed around the base. 153RD CLASS INITIATED INTO MU We initiated the 153rd Class of Mu of DKE into the brotherhood prior to our June meeting in Hamilton, New York. Our 23 newest brothers are all alumni of Colgate University. While students enrolled at Colgate are unable to join DKE, our brotherhood continues to grow every year because alumni are interested in joining an active organization which will continue to connect them to Colgate and each other after graduation through shared traditions and ideals. We are proud to welcome these young men into our brotherhood. Please reach out to me to share your thoughts on this edition of the YCB, or any other comments you might have regarding the brotherhood.
