washington Beta Bylines washington beta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Brothers (left to right) Russ Bender '83, Ray Harding '83, Roger Ferris '85, Randy Harris '82, Scott Taylor '82, Rob Cavanagh '82, and Jim Bell '84 attended the Homecoming event. Homecoming Event Connects Generations of WAshington beta Brothers I want to start off by sending a big thankyou to all guests who were able to attend our Homecoming event on September 21. It was a great success and we look forward to more alumni events in the future. The Homecoming event enabled us to not only connect with alumni and hear all the cherished memories they experienced while in school here, but also create the perfect opportunity for alumni to reconnect with friends they may not have seen for years. We were able to show how far we have come since the re-colonization, and all of the good things we are doing to exemplify what it means to be a True Gentleman. For the active members, it was an event to be cherished and remembered; it was a cool experience to listen to the many alumni stories and learn that times really have not changed. These stories showed the active members how unique Sigma Alpha Epsilon is, and that the guys we meet and become friends with here, will be with us for the rest of our lives. For alumni, it appeared as though the message we were trying to convey was well received. "The food was great and the hospitality shown by all the brothers was simply a delight. I was so impressed with all of the undergraduates, and I have happily told many friends about the genuine, welcoming atmosphere created at the ΣAE house on Homecoming weekend. They seemed like such a professional group of young men, and it made me proud to see how the fraternity has carried on the atmosphere that I experienced at Washington Beta too many years ago." - Don Elsom '64 alumni event to celebrate Founders' Day next March and hope to see you there. The chapter will work diligently to ensure everyone has ample time to plan for it. On behalf of WABE and myself, I hope everyone has a great holiday season and a tremendous end to the year. In the Bonds, Ben Pavish '16 Alumni Relations Chairman "The hospitality was fantastic, and getting a chance to meet many of the current guys in the house was really nice. They did a great job of welcoming my family and friends that I brought by. It was also great to catch up with some OLD friends!" – Rob Renner '88 If you were unable to attend the Homecoming event, we are planning to host another WABE brothers reconnected at the Homecoming event.
