D 15, 2010  LETTERS FROM PAGE 5 “He acted outside his scope of office in our Council/Manager form of government.” Foster has claimed to have worked four (4) different careers in his life. Two of which require a college degree, but it appears that he is unable or unwilling to read Town Codes, Procedure Policy, Personnel Policy and what he is allowed to do and not do. If Foster is unwilling to read the policies and follow them, then he has no business holding the office. He has wasted enough of the town’s money (estimated at $10,000 to $15,000) in failed legal filings at both the county and state level. Currently he is behind the recall of most of the town council, which will cost the town around $10,000. This money ($25,000) comes from the residents; do you like your money spent this way? He has threatened the other six (6) council members with legal action if they do not vote on issues the way he wants them to vote. Instead of making threats why doesn’t he have a logical discussion with the other six members? After having a logical discussion, if the other six vote against him he should .DM. realize he is wrong. But to threaten them with legal actions means he is either a bully or just a spoiled 5 year old little boy who wants his way. My Opinions, Skip Gallup, Quartzsite property owner SALVATION ARMY GIVING Sign-up for angel tree now at the Salvavtion Army. Any one interested in getting an angel to help a child have a Merry Christmas, please come by and pick a child. Our hours are 9-1 Mon. thru Sat. Salvation Army is located behind Silly Al’s Pizza on Main St. Also our bell ringers are out and about. This is one of the ways that we receive money to help those in need. We pay final notices on utility bills, help with groceries, fuel, get rides to doctor’s appointments and many other things in our community. We handed out 30 food certificates for Thanksgiving and will be doing it again for Christmas, so please share with the less fortunate. Thank you, Carol Kelley and the crew at the Salvation Army Local Jams MONDAY 1pm. Desert Edge RV, variety 6:30pm. Arizona Sun RV Park 6:30pm. Mountain View Resort TUESDAY 1pm. KOFA RV Park 1pm.
