When talking about the time off she took from designing to get over an illness that was difficult to treat but
eventually completely curable, she explains "It was so
hard for me to stay still and take care of myself when
there was so much I wanted to do." But now after a full
recuperation, she looks fabulous, eyes bright, and
face beaming as she talks about the new black
rhodium plated sterling silver and black rose cut
diamond Vogue Noir collection she is launching as a
small collection before the holidays and then in a big
way in 2014.
"I am continually trying to evolve and second guess
what the market and the modern women needs and it
seemed to be that with the return of sterling silver as a
precious metal as well as the popularity of black diamonds—it made sense to try and tie them into a more
accessibly priced fashion part of the collection." The
two materials provided the perfect pairing for floral
drop earrings, choker necklaces and soft flexible mesh
style bracelets that were geared to gifts for the wedding
party and pieces the bride could wear long after her
wedding day." Each piece is black rhodium plated for a
hip, edgy romantic look. "I believe this collection will
appeal to a wide demographic of women who run the
gamut in age. I am really excited about this new addition to my collection and I hope my retailers and
customers will be too," James concludes.
