J ewelry expert and tastemaker, Beth Bernstein combined her unique talent and experience to create a visually stunning homage to today's rising jewelry stars. The memoir connects her most significant moments and relationships in her life to key pieces of jewelry. She kept that foremost in her mind while selecting the designers in Jewelry's Shining Stars. "These designers have a story to tell," says Bernstein. "They are adding to jewelry's timeline. Creating history in the present." b o o k re v ie w "I have a real passion for coffee tables books, especially those on the history of jewelry and antiques," says Bernstein, "but my favorite part of the industry is discovering new talent." This marriage of interests created Jewelry's Shining Stars. Her earlier careers as a stylist and a jewelry designer gives her a credible and instinctual sense of talent…and her many years as a jewelry writer and historian led her to the designers to watch.
