Honoring Our Delta Xi Sisterhood Building for Another 100 Years Delta Xi Announces $850,000 Campaign Renovation Project Moves Forward with More Than $550,000 Committed W hen we look back at our own Delta Xi experience, we can see how the friendships, leadership, and service—even decades ago—helped shape who we are today. We are thankful for our close friendships with Tri Delta sisters, for the leadership development that helped launch our careers, and for the numerous opportunities gained through Delta Delta Delta membership. We still remember, as we're sure you do, the great times we had together at the Chapter House and the memories we created. Delta Xi collegians maintain the same values and traditions today that you upheld while at the University of Missouri. You can be proud that our chapter has sustained its strong reputation on campus. With the increasing size of our chapter, our current home can no longer keep pace with the growing chapter's needs. Several sororities on campus have recently completed renovation projects or built new, and, in order to maintain Delta Xi's ability to attract the highest quality young women and remain competitive, we made the strategic plan to update and expand our Chapter House. By expanding our home, we will provide our members with a modernized facility that will help Delta Xi maintain a competitive edge on campus while creating a safe home away from home for our chapter members, and a home that all Delta Xi alumnae can be proud to call their own. McAfee Construction of Columbia has been retained to complete the necessary changes and update the facility. Given these immediate needs, the Delta Xi House Corporation is proud to announce the Honoring Our Delta Xi Sisterhood: Building for Another 100 Years campaign to secure our continued success at the University of Missouri. Early commitments from generous alumnae, undergraduates, and friends total more than $550,000. This is a great start, but we need your help to reach or exceed our campaign goal of $850,000. This is the time to remember your Delta Xi experience. Remember what impact Tri Delta had on you, and think about how your life has been affected by your membership and your sisters. It is only through the lifelong bonds of Tri Delta sisterhood that future generations may share the same experience. We need you now more than ever! Delta Delta Delta I Campaign Status At-a-Glance As of October 25, 2013 Goal: $850,000 Total Raised: $558,194 Number of Contributors: 87 In the coming weeks, you will receive additional information detailing the project, the campaign, and ways in which you can help. We will be honored to have you join our growing list of loyal supporters who are leaving their legacy and providing for future generations, as previous sisters did for all of us. Thank you for your loyalty, consideration, and support of Delta Xi. Loyally, Teresa Keith McKinney '72 Campaign Chairman tkmckin@gmail.com University of Missouri
