Phi Chapter Earns Top Honors at Homecoming T he women of Alpha Chi Omega teamed up with the men of Alpha Tau Omega for KU's 101st Homecoming festivities, prevailing as the grand champions! Leading the way were Homecoming Chairwomen Rachel Loggan '11, Elisa Martin '11, and Kailyn Keplinger '10. The teams earned first place in the Awareness for Wellness and mural contests and second place in the Jayhawk Jingles and parade banner events. Combined with Alpha Tau Omega, the chapter also won the 3-on-3 basketball tournament this year. Alpha Chi Omega and Alpha Tau Omega paired up for Homecoming 2013. Above is our banner in the Homecoming parade held in downtown Lawrence. The KU Alumni Association and the student-led Homecoming Steering Committee included Holly Lafferty '10, who selected the theme, "Jayhawks Around the World," to celebrate the University's global reach in terms of international students and faculty, research discoveries that change the world, and the achievements of KU alumni who live in 150 countries around the globe.
