Chapter Eternal
George P. Finger '49 entered Chapter Eternal
September 15, 2012, at the age of 83. He worked
for Weyerhauser for over 30 years and lived in
Hot Springs, Ark. He is survived by his wife of
57 years, Wanda.
Gordon H. Pottschmidt '71 entered Chapter
Eternal April 26, 2013. He was a consultant for
engineering firms in Seymour and a member of
the National Society of Professional Engineers.
He also was a past president of Beta Sigma Psi.
He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in
Seymour where he was involved with the praise
and worship band. He loved music and enjoyed
playing tennis.

Ted Matthews '70 retired as a captain from
Delta Air Lines. In his spare time he restores
cars, from a functional 1953 bumper car to the
unique Amphicar. He and his wife, Debbie,

Hospital Pharmacy. He and his wife, Helen, have

John M. Walmsley '52 is a retired school
psychologist living in Zanesville, Ind., with his
wife, Jean. He also served for 20 years in the
U.S. Naval Reserve, retiring with the rank of

Norman A. Voss '65 retired as CEO of Kronotex
USA Holdings but remains an active member
of the board of directors. He resides with his
wife, Brenda, in Greensboro, Ga. They have

Larry J. Smith '66 has been the priest of St.
George Episcopal Church since 1986. He and his
wife, Madge, reside in Berne, Ind., and have four

Kidney Hypertension Inc. He resides in Lima,

Michael J. Hess '77 reports that through his
church he is leading teams to Honduras to install
water purification systems in remote, isolated,
and rural communities. He and his wife, Mary,
have two children and live in Bellingham, Wash.
Steven L. Hoffman '78 resides in Sobieski,
Wisc., with his wife, Linda. They have three
children: Melanie, Jennifer, and Sarah. He is
a reliability manager with Procter & Gamble.

Duane R. Dippon '72 is the senior geospatial
program manager for the Bureau of Land
Management. He and his wife, Susan, have two
children, Chris and Beth, and live in Alexandria,

Randy Hitchens '74 and his wife, Kathy,
are repairing the nest after having graduated
their children: Cyrena, Chase, and Carin, from
