Burial followed in the church cemetery with military hon- ors being accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Mr. Lovelace served our country in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee Lovelace and Lula Belle Morgan Lovelace. Mr. Green served our country in the U.S. Army, serving in WWII as an educa- tion officer in Europe and the Pacific theaters. He held the ranks of Captain and Major in the NC National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nollie D. and Florence Estelle Ramsey Green; and 2 children, Herman Green, Jr. (Buddy) and Michelle Harris.
