We can be thankful that we live in a community that fosters a supportive environment for the families of our fallen. CV B ecause of being the world's only sanctuary for the military, Cumberland County was named America's most pro-military community in the country by Time Magazine. It's easy to live up to that statement when you're home to where NC ratified the constitution and home to the men and woman who defend it. When off defending it, the unsung heroes are those spouses who must carry the torch of raising the family, keeping the home in tact and moving life forward.  Organizations like the Army's Army exist for the purpose of slightly easing that burden.  The Bible says there is no greater love than to lay your life down for another.  Military life exemplifies this truth with love of country. When our fellow brother or sister does pay the ultimate sacrifice the Army's Army has found homes for canines, or run errands, and rebuilt households.  But most importantly provides a un-intrusive human service to the children of the fallen through monthly interactive fun activities. Most recently, children made Pizzas at Mellow Mushroom, they have planted a tree at the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens in honor of their parent, and have taken bullying classes from master Brown at his Dojo ATA Martial Arts.  Ultimately, we would like a "Big Brother, Big Sister" style program by matching an Army's Army volunteer with a child from a fallen soldier and that dream is coming closer through a partnership with Sam's Club. The military provides such an economic impact to the Fort Bragg Communities of Cumberland County and providing our everyday freedoms that this is the least we can do for our neighbors, our brothers and sisters! - John Meroski, Founder of Army's Army
