What you might not know is that Atlanta was the other location and final footage is wrapping up there right now. Just in time for the Catching Fire premiere, Atlanta Movie Tours and Catching Fire Tours are launching packages beginning November 23, 2013. Weekend adventure packages include an interactive theatrical experience. To kick off the tour, an official peacekeeper will be waiting on fans at the site and announces that they immediately must submit their fingerprint before getting assigned their nametag for tracking purposes in the Capital area. For dinner that night in District 12 all the food served spans around meals from the movie. True to the storyline, the fans will get to go ziplining through the trees at night like Katniss and Rue, followed by a game of Jeopardy with Hunger Games trivia. "Saturday night people plan their costume for months for the Capital dinner, a five-course meal served with the same glasses and pitchers used in the film, complete with Katniss' favorite - pumpkin soup," said Tammy. "Our staff spends five hours transforming the lodge for the Capital Gala Banquet that night." Just like in the games at night, archery tag is offered a game similar to the paintball concept, but with a large foam tip at the end of the arrow. Teams battle five on five in a ladder style elimination competition. "It comes down to strategy," said Tammy. "That evening we reshow the movie after they toured the actual locations. Sunday morning clues are left inside the cornucopia where the fans head to their stations with the goal to have the most points at the end." Have a Hunger Games fan in your family? This might make the most memorable birthday or Christmas present, ever, but as they say, "May the odds be forever in your favor." CV
