D O C D A V I S D O C D A V I S MEMORIAL NEWSLETTER MEMORIAL NEWSLETTER P E N N S T A T E D E L T A U P S I L O N S U M M E R 2 0 2 4 A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT Your Support Allows Us to Improve Our Home A s the newly elected president of Penn State Delta Upsilon Alumni Corporation, I am excited to share some fantastic developments within our fraternity and to ask for your continued support in nurturing the growth and success of our Chapter. This past year has been remarkable for Delta Upsilon. We have seen a significant increase in membership, welcoming a new pledge class that embodies the values and traditions that define our brotherhood. These young men are not only excelling academically but are also actively involved in various campus organizations, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to service that makes us proud. Our Chapter House has also undergone some much-needed improvements. Thanks to generous contributions from alumni, we have been able to keep up our beautiful and unique Chapter House and make improvements. Some of the projects we have recently completed or are in the process of completing include expanding and upkeeping our parking lot, repairing the kitchen floor due to residual water damage, retiling the bathrooms, trimming trees, installing bunk beds, repairing windows, and other general upgrades. These summer projects come after creating and improving a weight room (off the party room) and installing turf in the backyard (between DU and Cedar Brook Apartments). The condition of the house is improving as well as the trajectory of our undergraduate brothers. These enhancements not only provide a better living experience for our brothers but also help attract new members who see the tangible benefits of joining our fraternity. However, to sustain and build on these achievements, we need your continued support. Whether through financial contributions or volunteering your time, your involvement is crucial. Your generosity enables us to maintain the high standards of Penn State DU and ensure that future generations of brothers have the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. Please consider donating to our Chapter fund or volunteering in some capacity. Together, we can ensure that Delta Upsilon remains a staple of the Greek system at Penn State. Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to our brotherhood. Fraternally, Ryan Mullin '11 President, Delta Upsilon Alumni Chapter Thank You, Loyal Brothers We Value Your Support Earlier this year, we kicked off our Penn State Annual Giving campaign to support brotherhood programming and communications. We'd like to thank the brothers who have contributed to the campaign so far in 2024. Their support ensures a stronger future for Delta Upsilon at Penn State. Please consider joining your brothers and giving back to our Chapter. Doing so will positively impact our brotherhood by ensuring we can keep providing opportunities for our collegiate members and keep alumni like you connected. Thank you for your support! Dean R.
