The BATTLEFIELD SIG theta Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity at Gettysburg college Spring 2024 Chapter alumni and guest Brothers in attendance at the 160th Anniversary Banquet. P lease join me and the House Corporation Board in celebrating another milestone in Theta's long and storied history! Theta Chapter recently celebrated the 160th anniversary of its founding in 1863. Since its charter, our humble chapter has survived through it all: involvement in every major war since the one that made Gettysburg a household name, two major pandemics, shifts in culture, and the rise of anti-fraternity sentiment nationwide. Suffice it to say, you have helped keep our chapter's torch alight throughout the ages, so this is a true achievement worth celebrating. On Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, brothers descended on Gettysburg to share in the merriment and cherish the opportunity to reconnect with their collegiate home. Friday night, dozens of alumni met in the Gettysburg Hotel's Pub Mural Room to catch up with brothers young and old. The weekend was off to a strong start.
