Lambda Chi Builds LEADERS Highlighting the Progress of Alpha-Phi Zeta M y name is Braedon Waite, AΦ2029, and I serve as High Alpha of Alpha-Phi Zeta. I was initiated in the first spring class in many years in 2022. What brought me here was the unique connection and bond between brothers. I can truly say this Fraternity has developed me so much as a man, leader, and servant to others. I followed my older cousin Piers Waite, AΦ1968 here and never looked back. Throughout my years here, and specifically this year, we have accomplished many goals. I would like to thank our High Pi, Roy Gregg, AΦ881, and the House Corporation for supporting this Chapter in any way they can. CHAPTER ACCOMPLISHMENTS This year in academics, we had 35 brothers achieve a GPA of 3.5 and above, with a fall associate class GPA of 3.0. This January at the High Alpha Summit, we received the Mason's Circle trophy for 100% of brothers donating to Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation. Our brothers routinely volunteer at the West Alabama Food Bank and campaign every November for Movember, raising money and support for men's health issues. I served as the Chapter's High Delta last semester. During my time, we had 42 accepted associate members and finished with 39 initiated brothers this past fall. This is one of the largest associate classes we've had in recent memory. We recently initiated another four brothers this spring. We currently have 150 active brothers and are planning for further growth in the coming years. Our Chapter will be hosting an event for all Alpha-Phi Zeta alumni on Saturday, April 6, from 12-2:30 p.m. We encourage all brothers to come back and reconnect with undergraduates and alumni.
