Recall the first time you walked in the fraternity
house. We all can envision walking through
the door into a group of welcoming brothers.
Accepting our bids altered the course of our
lives more than we could have imagined.
Since our founding in 1896, Gamma Chi Chapter
of Sigma Nu has influenced the lives of
over 2,200 alumni by creating an experience
that teaches lessons not learned in a classroom.
In addition to the high standards taught by our
fraternity, membership in Sigma Nu teaches
valuable skills—leadership, teamwork, and personal
integrity. These traits have been integral to each
of our successes and have made us the men we
are today. Many of our most cherished memories
involve our brothers from Gamma Chi and the
chapter house we called home.
While there are understandable differences in
today's campus culture, the fundamental values
of Sigma Nu stand the test of time at UW.
These skills have never been more important in
today's culture and campus landscape.
