A chapter house that is celebrating its Centennial birthday in 2025 is bound to experience a mix of ups and downs, achievements, setbacks, bonding moments and disagreements. Such is to be expected! However, amidst it all, the momentum at CHOP Nation in Bloomington shows no sign of slowing, and the chapter's trajectory continues to soar! Our Alumni Association Board is thrilled with the current group of undergraduates. We have a total of 147 members, including 35 from the fall class and 29 newly recruited associate members from the spring class. The High Delta, J.J. Williams '25, attributes this rapid growth to our brothers' efforts in raising Lambda Chi's profile on campus through excellent academic performance and participation in events like Dance Marathon and intramural sports. Plus, our beloved house has undergone renovations and now has increased occupancy, generating even more interest. Thanks to strong referrals from our brothers, we already have a significant pool of prospects before recruitment begins. And with our new leader, High Pi Alex Martens '16, at the helm, there's no stopping us now! Alex is serving Indiana University as Associate Director of Student Life at the Kelley School of Business. He oversees numerous organizations and advises on various campus programs. He's not just passionate about his work; he also loves cars, road trips, the Indianapolis Colts, and Lambda Chi. He lives in Bloomington with his wife, Addison, and their two labs, Kennedy and Finn. With an impressive fraternity background as High Theta and treasurer of IFC during his undergraduate years, followed by serving on different alumni boards before landing at Indiana University, we have full confidence in Alex's ability to take our house even higher. Here's where you, our alumni brotherhood, come in! We're gearing up for the momentous celebration of our chapter house's 100th birthday in 2025. We want it to be unforgettable and would love your help in planning. Whether you have ideas for activities or want to volunteer your time and skills, please reach out to alemarte@iu.edu or aoalumniboard@gmail.com. Let's make this Centennial celebration one to remember!
