Thank you to our devoted Red Kettle Bell Ringers who rang and collected monies for our local outreach efforts. Thank you to those community members that dropped coins and bills in the kettles. Thank you to those that put toys into our collection bas- kets around town, thanks to those that brought huge donations to TSA from handmade wooden toys, many new Hot Wheels, to a pallet of family games from Discount Gro- ceries. A big shout out thank you to Beer Belly's Adult Day Care for your over-the-top collection of new toys, games, and several bikes for our kiddos. Thank you to our amaz- ing volunteer Elves that helped so many kiddos select toys, books, socks, shoes, etc. at the Santa Event. Thank you to the hard-working elf helpers that set up the Santa Event. Thank you, special Santa you were so picturesque in the kiddos photos that the families took home. Thank you dedicated traffic organizers for your diligence in the parking lot that day. A very special thank you to Lead Elf Jan and her assistant San- di for their hours of work. The An- gel Tree recipients' packages were beautifully wrapped and organized. Thank you to our awesome commu- nity for your continued support. It was a blessed holiday for so many. We have never had to close be- cause of illness, but last week was our first time. We apologize for the inconvenience. We did make an- nouncements as soon as we knew on Facebook Chatter, Desert Mes- senger page and our FB pages. We appreciated the care and concerns expressed by so many. Facebook is always a good way to checkout our special sales and specialty items that come in. We do have a generator and a RV double recliner set that just were delivered. Come and see. Come see our Valentine's Day decorated items. Merry Mary does such a beautiful job with our dis- plays. We also have a large selection of nice winter and wind scarves for keeping warm. Newly designed hardback fiction books are ready to be checked out. We have 10 cent books on the porch, too. Our children's clothing racks as well as our linen racks are full, too. Holly, our awesome clerk, extends her appreciation to those that bring flattened bags to us. It really helps her as she is so very busy at the reg- ister. Please note that we can only take fifty- or hundred-dollar bills when your purchase is near those amounts. We appreciate your under- standing. We do accept credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Wallet. We cannot process American Express transactions. Please continue to donate your un- needed eyeglasses, computer ink cartridges, cell phones, as well as outdated prescription medications. We recycle all to the appropriate agencies. Don't forget our adult and child dia- per program is always available. This is a monthly program with a simple sign-up procedure. Please ask. We also have a large assortment of medical devices that are available on a loan-out basis with a refundable de- posit upon the item being returned. We continue to have free shoes, socks, and miscellaneous items out front of the store and a free clothing rack and food available inside each day. Please understand that our build- ing has no windows, no air exchange ventilation, our aisles are tight, and we have many senior volunteers with health concerns. We are asking for personal space of six feet (camel length) and recommending, not re- quiring, a face covering- which we provide, for both us and our amaz- ing shoppers. We appreciate your understanding. Quartzsite Salvation Army Thrift Store & Service Center #DoingTheMostGood 101 South Moon Mountain Avenue Store 928-927-3636 Cell 360-921-7571 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE….
