The show will be held at the Quartzsite Senior Center on 40 Moon Mountain Avenue on Friday from 9-4 and Saturday from 9-2. Quilt entries are open to everyone with categories for large, medium, and small quilts, art or pictorial quilts, wall hangings, fashion and home decorative. You can pick up entry forms prior to the event during our meetings on Tues- days between 8-3 at the Senior Cen- ter. Quilt entries for the show will be accepted on Thursday, February 1, between 11-noon. There is a $2.00 donation admis- sion and door prizes will be given out all day. Raffl e tickets will be available for a quilt made by club members. A boutique will be set up with handmade items by our mem- bers and other sewing related items for sale. Vendors will have booths selling fabric and sewing notions. The Quartzsite Quilters meet every Tuesday from 8-3 at the Quartzsite Senior Center. The group meets from October through early April, dues are $10 for the season and $10 to join the Senior Center. Everyone is welcome, bring your sewing ma- chine or hand sewing project. There are irons & ironing boards avail- able and cutting tables with mats and rulers for your use. Participate in some or all of our activities from weekly show & tell of your quilting projects, classes, weekly drawings from our sewing goodie basket, make a challenge block and be en- tered to win a set of blocks, in house yard sale where you can sell your extra fabric or sewing notions and of course purchase others goodies, make a quilt to donate to a chari- table group, participate in the quilt show and just hang out and sew with a friendly group who love quilting. I hope you all enjoy visiting the shows and take time out to visit us at Tyson's Well Stage Station Museum. We are just east of Silly Al's Pizza. Enter off Main Street - there is parking in the back. You will also fi nd us at vari- ous events in town. We will be at the QIA Pow Wow, and at the Big Tent Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show. Stop by our table at any event and learn more about Quartzsite and the surrounding areas. We will hold a raffl e at each event to help us support Tyson's Well Stage Station. The museum located at 161 W Main St, just east of Silly Al's. We will be open every day during the Pow Museum happenings Wow and the Big Tent show from 10 am to 4 pm. Stop by to see the stage station built in the 1800s. The museum itself is an artifact which is fi lled with lots of historical items from Quartzsite and the surround- ing area. We love to have visitors of all ages but do ask that you not take pets inside the buildings. The 3rd Annual Senior Prom at the Senior Center will be held March 22nd. We will have tickets for sale starting January 17th. Get them early. We sold out last year! The Tyson's Well Stage Station Museum will hold our January Open House on January 31rst.
