Quartzsite, Arizona- Recent events drew a
wide variety of folks to Quartzsite. Hobby-
ists and enthusiasts came for some fun-fi lled
busy weeks in the Sonoran Desert. One popu-
lar event was the Remote Control Planes Fly-
In held at the James Colwell Flying Field at
Quartzsite Town Park held Thursday, Feb.
7th. An estimated 250 people attended with
pilots coming from over 1000 miles sharing
their talents.
Feb. 14th -17th the Desert Bloom Rally
brought ATV enthusiasts to enjoy trails around
Quartzsite, while educating riders about our
local history. The rally was held at Tyson Wells
Showgrounds. Performance Plaza was open
