Jeff Shaver, a New Mexico native, as its new associate pastor in September. Speaking about his experience, Jeff beams with enthusiasm. "While I appreciate the rich history and tradition of First Prez, at the end of the day, I'm here because of their love for people." The vibrant community has made his transition seamless. A young adult community is growing under his contribution. Jeff carries with him a vision that blends the historic richness of the church with a willingness to explore new horizons. He aims to help further the reputation of First Presbyterian as a place of healing and genuine welcome. "While First Presbyterian is rooted in history," Jeff notes, "it's also open to experimenting with new things." His focus is on adapting and innovating to meet the evolving needs of the community. In a world where people may feel estranged from the church, Jeff aims to help create a sanctuary of warmth and acceptance. First Presbyterian aspires to be a haven for those who feel disconnected or disillusioned by the conventional church experience. Jeff envisions a vibrant and inclusive community where individuals can find solace and spiritual nourishment. Jeff Shaver FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
