It was the first full, normal year after COVID-19, and we worked hard to capitalize on that opportunity. We were the only KA chapter in our region that had a GPA above 3.25, and we excelled still more by earning a 3.52. Additionally, Pierce Winslow '20 has been leading a team to create a well-structured point system to drive involvement in chapter and philanthropy events. In the realm of philanthropy, we raised $20,000 last spring to donate a customized automated track chair to a wounded veteran, which will allow him to do everything from hunting to golfing to working in his yard. Jakob Grau '20, our philanthropy chairman, is making great progress in our involvement. This fall, we are planning to adopt a local school to volunteer as tutors for the students and use our leftover wood from our build parties to both create furniture we can donate to those in need and build ramps for people who are handicapped so they can easily get in and out of their homes.
