2 UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS NEW ALUMNI SUCCESS The 2023 graduating class of 22 new alumni has a wide variety of promising careers ahead of them! Employers include Ford, Northrop Grumman, Kimley Horn, Amazon, Procter and Gamble, Caterpillar, and Jump Trading. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to seeing them at Homecoming in a few weeks! BACK TO WORK Under the supervision of new House Manager Jacob Stocco '25, the fall semester began, as always, with Brotherhood Work Weekend. The standard deep clean of the house was completed, and we overhauled the exterior by uprooting every weed in sight and planting hostas and various perennial wildflowers native to Illinois. American Beauty Roses were, unfortunately, not on the planting agenda this year. GROWING PAINS The semester is still young, but the chapter is looking forward to all the classics! Recruitment will be very important this semester to regain the numbers we've lost over the past two years. The chapter is down to 36 undergraduate members with only 10 graduating this year. We're looking forward to some explosive growth this year that will lead the chapter back to stable financial footing. MONEY MOVES Increasing the overall chapter size is the long-term solution to solve our financial issues, but the chapter will implement several short-term strategies to serve as stopgap measures until we have enough funds to cover expenses. These options should be detailed in an email you received recently. If you have further questions or didn't receive that email, please contact us at exec@sigphis.org. Thank you for continuing to support Delta Chapter. We are excited to welcome you back to campus October 20-22! Fraternally, Jack Stubenvoll '24 Chief Engineer Lake Zurich, Ill. Undergraduates Tackle New Semester National lets each chapter give out a $300 book scholarship each semester for recruitment purposes, so we're taking full advantage to generate interest! Brothers Stocco, Loomstein, Adam, McGough, Luckett, Smith, Taylor, Metzger, Schick, and Stubenvoll man a tent highlighting the opportunity on Quad Day. From left, graduates Sivakumaran, Loveday, Murarka, Zaczek, Keserovic, Galik, Shin, Lotarski, and Cagas gather for a commemorative photo in front of Alma. Brothers Murarka, Cagas, Stubenvoll, Lotarski, and others enjoy a nice game of cards at dinner. HITTING THE HITTING THE GROUND RUNNING GROUND RUNNING
